We definitely love finding a great pizza joint, and now we have another to add to the list of favorites.  Lamppost Pizza is on Louis Henna Blvd in the Greenlawn Crossing shopping center across from Dell .  Though they've been doing their thing for about 10 years, it seems as though they are some sort of a secret in Round Rock with growing popularity.

You can tell how good this pizza is, just from looking at it.  You most certainly can buy pizza from other places for less money... but why would you?  Cheaper does NOT mean better, you can taste the quality.

Oh you'll find all of the normal pizzas, but they make the pizza for you as if they were making it for themselves.  The "Whole 9 Yards" pizza was absolutely loaded with toppings.  It's made with lots of melted cheese, pepperoni, ham, sausage, mushrooms, bacon, onions, bell pepper & olives.  This pizza is a feast.

Want to step out of the box a little?  We HIGHLY recommend the "All-Star Chicken".  It's made with cheese, olive oil, chicken breast, garlic, whole tomato slices, and avocado.  Being of the mind that chicken and pizza don't usually mix, it was an instant paradigm shift and an extremely good change from the norm.  (Plus, the first pizza gone)

But pizza is not the only thing on the menu... Lamppost makes calzones, pastas, wings, salads, sandwiches and more.

And grab the kids, Lamppost Pizza makes a great location for team parties and doesn't charge for the space.  Right next to the party area is an arcade so the kiddies aren't wondering around, out of parental earshot.  Then on the first Saturday of every month you can bring them for "Family Karaoke Night".
