We absolutely love finding a great pizza restaurant.  Lucky for all of us, Austin has been sprouting up terrific pizza joints all over town.  Our most recent find... Rome's Pizza has us excited about making return trips since we couldn't possibly try everything in one visit.

Unless you live somewhere off of Parmer north of 620, you may have never even heard about this place, but you have been missing out.

This is a great place for regular pizza lovers and those of you who like to step out of the box a little.  You'll want to try everything on the menu...  Traditional, exotic, pesto, white and gourmet pizzas, plus great appetizers and salads, Mediterranean Specialties, Calzones, pastas, and delicious hot oven toasted sandwiches.

One of the pizzas recommended to us is the "Millennium 3".  A pizza made with pesto sauce, mozzarella, rosemary roasted new potatoes, spinach, seasoned chicken and gorgonzola cheese.  Sounds a little strange right?  We were a little skeptical at first too, but man what a great combination.  So good in fact, that this pizza has won nation-wide awards.

Rome's Pizza has won multiple awards for their unique pizza creations which blend Italian favorites with Mediterranean ones.  Plus it makes a great place to go with friends or family and hang out, have a cold one, all while being thrilled by everything you order to eat.

You can get Rome's Pizza by delivery, dining in, or carry out.  They also cater events.  If you're looking for catering, make sure and ask about the 28 inch Pizza!

Whether you live 5 minutes away or 50 minutes away, you'll be glad you made the trip.
