If Japanese cuisine is on your list of favorite restaurants, let us tell you about Tokai Restaurant (Japanese Hibachi).

This restaurant can be found nestled in the middle of the Railyard shopping center in Cedar Park.  You might even miss it as you drive by.  But make sure and stop. 

Tokai makes traditional Japanese dishes and gives it a modern American spin.  For instance you can order sushi over 30 different ways like, the Texas Roll made with smoked salmon, cream cheese, avocado, cucumber, jalapeno.  Maybe you'd like the Niko Roll made with shrimp tempura, crab meat, avocado, cream cheese, massago.

We admittably are not all big sushi eaters, but really enjoyed the numerous choices available.  The Dragon Roll was a prepared in a beautiful presentation and was very tasty. 

If you're not a sushi lover, you'll certainly appreciate the different entrees on the rest of the menu, we did.  You can get Hibachi meals with your choice of steak, chicken, shrimp and more.  Or get a Bento Box which gives you a sampling of several items.  It comes with steamed rice, soup, salad and Califonia Rolls.  For noodle lovers, we recommend you order the Yakisoba Chicken or Beef. (very good)

This busy little restaurant has a nice atmosphere, good service and the aroma makes you hungrier as you walk in the door.  So grab your chopsticks and get going.
